  2. Great job! It looks very well organized and thought out. I think the more planning you do before auditions, the more satisfied all participants will be with the results.

  3. Thanks Christa & Lori. Feels good to have the steps outlined instead of some abstract ideas floating around in my head...

  4. Your plan is well thought out. I think you are right on track by having detailed plans prior to the auditions. I really think this plan is going to make your project a success!

  5. From reading your research plan, I am assuming this must be some type of drill team group? Regardless, well thought out and planned. I have a fellow math teacher who is also sponsor of the drill team of the current school I teach at. She is very strict/stern when it comes to academic grades, deadlines, and tryouts with her girls. She is in the process of having tryouts this month. As a matter of fact, I asked her who would be her judges this past Friday and she said she is bringing experiences dancers from out of town to judge that way the scores and tabulations will be fair and no one, parents and students, will feel cheated.

  6. Hi Shannon. Very well thought out, planned, and organized. I think you are on track to make the experience more satisfying for everyone involved. As with all groups where a "tryout" is involved, you will still end up with someone who is not completely satisfied - just goes with the territory! If possible, I would try to use judges that have no ties to anyone, has no prior knowledge of students, etc.
